How to mix SKIN FLESH tones with Acrylic or oil Paint, step by step,The ...

If you struggle with Flesh tones, this perfect recipe will make painting a portrait so much more pleasurable,

In my video I will show you how to go from the lightest to the darkest skin tones, here is the recipe, watch the video to see how I mix the colors to get the perfect skin tones..

1. White, Yellow, and Red, these are your basic colors for all flesh tones, now you can use any yellow that works for you, for example, lemon yellow, yellow ochre, or for the Red you can use Magenta Red, Crimson Red, the results may be a little different from my nix but as long as you use those colors as the base you will get beautiful skin tones.

2. Add Brown to the base mix, browns could be Burnt Umber, Burnt Sienna, and what ever you have on hand..in any colors, you will still get a really nice flesh tone..

3. You can darken your skin color even more by adding Blue, Ultramarine Blue is the best, other blues may be a bit to light. when you get the darkest tone from adding the brown, then add blue to the total mix.

4. You can darken you skin tone even more by adding black to the total mix.

When you watch my video you will be able to mix the colors I show you to see what your skin tones look like..
