Creatively driven, and emotionally charged, Allison Prior’s creative and original art has been described as "beautiful, uplifting and inspired" Prior studied various painting classes at M.U.N in St. John’s, Newfoundland , and also took acrylic painting lessons from Don Short, Also a member of the Art Association of Newfoundland and Labrador, attending workshops, and exhibiting her art to the public.
This Raw Artist is a self-taught painter and sketcher, and while Prior has been creating art in various forms throughout her life it was not until 2007, that she started creating her art on a full-time basis.
Prior has a diverse collection of paintings, and some of our favourites are her beautiful paintings of women and children, these paintings are full of brilliance and many diverse individuals within our communities.
